Self-Reflection
June stared into the mirror, not recognizing the face that glared back. The reflected face had green eyes and much deeper frown lines. There was a menacing monster-like quality about the mimic stranger.
“Your husband deserved it, June. He cheated,” said the demon. “Now, let’s wash the blood off our hands.”
“You’ve won this round,” June threatened the stranger, “but you will not win this war.”
